Staying home

We are all trying to "flatten the curve" and it makes it hard when you don't stay home. Going out to the store is okay, but only do it when you really need something. Doctors and nurses are risking their lives in hospitals working for all of us. Staying home is something that is easy and very healthy. If you can stay in your home or apartment, then do so. There are lots of things you can do at home, which is exactly what this blog is about. Stay home for all of us. Please.

Movies/TV

We all love watching TV, so why not watch a show that is new to you? Here are a few shows we recommend:  Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist  on NBC,  The Simpsons  on Disney+, and the movie  Onward  on Disney+. These are all fairly family friendly and are great watches for everybody. Now there is tons of other stuff, we just thought we would put up some recommendations.

Pets

Whether its a Pitbull or domestic cat, pets are a great addition to the family! They can cuddle when your sad and play when you feel like getting some exercise after your 3rd piece of Grandma's crazy cake (check out our cooking page for the recipe), they are always there for you. If you dont have a pet get one! Or, if you can't have a pet, snuggle with a stuffed animal. It really helps to have something to hold during this tough quarantine.

Cooking

Grandma's Crazy Cake 3 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons salt 2 cups sugar 1/3 cup cocoa 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup olive oil 2 tablespoons white vinegar 1 egg 2 cups water First sift flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and cocoa into a medium bowl. Then add vanilla, olive oil, white vinegar, egg, and water to the mixture. Next mix it all together and bake in a 9x13 in. pan at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until tests well. Enjoy!
